Mark Roberts - Dahab June 2008

“I must take my hat of to Chris he was very patience, as most of the time I could not remember my left hand from my right hand, let a loan were my feet should be. However he was not phased by this he just went over and over again, he showed me what bad habits I had picked up over time and put me right to how it should be, with his relaxed coaching but a professional instructor with out pet names for various moves, I gained in confidence towards my sailing, I look ward to improving even further again with Chris sometime soon. Thanks again Chris”

Sam De Silva - Turkey May 2008

“Chris got me planing in the harness, doing carve gybes, and moving onto smaller boards and larger sails. After a demonstration and by following Chris on the water I was able to complete my first carve gybe! The course has an excellent balance of theory using the simulator, demonstration on the water, assessment and feedback. Chris helped me progress at the right pace, he gave me time to work things out, he never gets tired of explaining, and he challenged me so that I was able to develop my skills but at the same time have fun. It really makes a difference to have an instructor who is passionate about developing others. Chris, thank you so much for all your hard work and energy. I really enjoyed the week in Turkey (coffee, orange juice? – YES PLEASE!), looking forward to the next adventure!”

"I have been involved in windsurfing for 28years – in teaching, retail, repair, racing and travel. It’s been a constant theme, a passion, and a great way of keeping fit, and keeping in touch with people. However, more recently I’d I lost the drive to pursue the sport. But Chris’s fresh, relaxed, genuine approach to and understanding of my situation, not only brought my windsurfing style and technique well up to date and beyond, but also fuelled the desire to learn, progress and get out and practise. At no time did I feel forced, rushed, pushed or intimidated. His coaching was always clear and delivered when he thought it was necessary. He did the thinking, I did the doing. I really enjoyed Chris’s genuine coaching style, and his drive and passion to get people windsurfing and enjoying it. Highly recommended to all."

Gill Burt - Dahab January 2008

"I'd tried to learn to carve gybe on a couple of previous windsurfing holidays largely unsuccessfully! What Chris did that worked so well was breaking this move down into simple manageable steps. I'm sure there's much more than I've identified here that makes Chris such a good coach, but what I particularly benefited from was his very clear demonstration both on the simulator and on the water, building the move stage by stage and ensuring that I had mastered each stage before moving on to the next. This way my confidence and competence grew and I had growing evidence that I was learning the move. I was so happy to do 3 consecutive carve gybes after three 2 hour sessions with Chris. I learned loads more than this as well. Chris is very professional, very patient, gives very clear descriptions and demonstrations, and his energy and passion for the sport is contagious.
I would definitely recommend learning with Chris - I had lots of fun, enjoyed the learning and came away with more knowledge, competence and passion for the sport."

Charlie Gordon Lennox - Dahab January 2008

"Thank you both for an amazing trip, we loved every bit of it; I have the bruises and scars to go with it! Chris: you must have been the most patient man I have ever met, especially with two very over enthusiastic individuals, we could not have asked for a better teacher.”

Jay Inott - Dahab December 2007

“In short, Chris and the 2 elements team meant that I had my best holiday to date. Booking my holiday through 2 elements was a pleasure could not have been easier with everyone keen to help. As for the windsurfing, the tuition is professional, relaxed and really enjoyable. From being a complete beginner, I was in the foot straps and harness within the week and can't wait to get back onto the water again. Whether travelling alone (as I did) or with friends, I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try, or improve to any level, at this amazing sport in the best locations. Thanks again for everything Chris, hope to see you on a windsurfing beach again sometime.”

Dave Staley - Dahab September 2007
